Binance Adds Dividend Support for TSMB and CRMB
Binance has announced that it will support cash dividend distributions for holders of TSMB and CRMB, its bStocks products linked to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited (TSM) and Salesforce (CRM).
The announcement was published on September 15, 2026, at 10:30 UTC. Under the arrangement, eligible holders will receive their dividends in the form of additional TSMB or CRMB bStocks rather than as a separate cash payment.
Binance said the net dividend amount will be reinvested after applicable withholding taxes, fees, costs and other deductions. The resulting amount will be used to purchase additional units or fractions of the same underlying security. On-chain holders of TSMB and CRMB will receive the dividend through a multiplier adjustment.
What Are TSMB and CRMB bStocks?
An important distinction is that Binance's bStocks products do not represent direct ownership of the underlying shares.
According to the announcement, bStocks are tokenized securities issued by BTech Holdings Limited, a Binance group affiliate. They are classified as certificates representing certain financial instruments under the applicable ADGM framework and represent an interest in underlying securities held by the issuer.
That means holding TSMB does not make a user a direct shareholder of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, and holding CRMB does not provide direct ownership of Salesforce shares. This distinction is important when discussing the dividend distribution because users receive the benefit through the bStock structure rather than receiving the underlying company's shares directly.
Binance also states that bStocks are offered through an Approved Prospectus in the ADGM and are not offered in other jurisdictions. Product availability can therefore vary depending on a user's location.
TSMB Dividend Eligibility and Key Times
For TSMB, Binance will use a record-date snapshot at September 16, 2026, at 00:00 UTC to determine eligible holdings.
Users holding TSMB at the specified snapshot will qualify for the corresponding dividend distribution, subject to Binance's stated terms.
There is also a temporary service suspension connected with the distribution. Starting at September 15, 2026, at 23:30 UTC, Binance will suspend the 1:1 token conversion service between TSM stock and TSMB bStocks. Deposits and withdrawals of TSMB will also be suspended from that time.
Users who plan to deposit TSMB before the suspension are advised by Binance to allow enough time for their deposits to be fully processed.
CRMB Dividend Eligibility and Service Suspension
The timeline for CRMB is one day later.
Binance will take its eligibility snapshot at September 17, 2026, at 00:00 UTC. Users holding CRMB at that record-date snapshot will be eligible for the Salesforce-related dividend distribution.
The 1:1 conversion service between CRM stock and CRMB bStocks, along with CRMB deposits and withdrawals, will be suspended at September 16, 2026, at 23:30 UTC.
Binance said deposits, withdrawals and token conversion services for both TSMB and CRMB will resume after the respective dividend distribution has been completed. The exchange does not plan to issue another announcement when those services are restored, although recovery notifications may be available to users.
Trading Pairs Will Remain Available
Despite the temporary suspension of certain services, Binance said trading of the TSMB/USDT and CRMB/USDT pairs will not be affected.
This means the dividend-related changes are focused on deposits, withdrawals and token conversion rather than stopping trading for the two bStocks markets.
Binance Convert will also temporarily pause conversions involving the two assets. Conversion of TSMB and all associated pairs will pause at September 15, 2026, at 23:30 UTC, while conversion of CRMB and its associated pairs will pause at September 16, 2026, at 23:30 UTC.
These timings correspond with the respective suspension of the token conversion services.
How Binance Will Handle the Dividend Reinvestment
The dividend process is designed to automatically reflect the net amount owed to eligible bStock holders.
Binance said applicable withholding taxes, fees, costs and other deductions will be taken into account before the dividend is reinvested. The remaining amount will then be allocated toward additional units or fractions of the same underlying security.
For on-chain holders, Binance will implement the distribution through a multiplier adjustment. The exchange also said that dividends earned from assets held in other Binance accounts, including accounts such as Savings and Margin, will be credited to the user's Spot Account.
Binance will handle the technical requirements associated with the event, according to the announcement.
Where Users Can Check Dividend Information
Binance has provided a dedicated bStocks dividend distribution FAQ for users who want more information about how these distributions work.
Users can also review the companies' own dividend information. Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company publishes its dividend history through its official investor relations website, while Salesforce provides company and investor information through its official investor relations site.
These sources are useful for distinguishing the underlying companies' dividend information from Binance's separate process for distributing the corresponding benefits through bStocks.
What the Announcement Means for bStocks Users
The latest Binance announcement shows how dividend-paying traditional securities can be incorporated into its tokenized-security products.
For eligible TSMB and CRMB holders, the key point is that the dividend will not simply arrive as unrestricted cash. Instead, after applicable deductions, Binance will reinvest the net amount into additional units or fractions of the corresponding bStock. The distribution will therefore increase the user's exposure represented through the relevant bStock structure.
At the same time, users need to pay attention to the temporary service suspensions. TSMB deposits, withdrawals and conversions are scheduled to pause on September 15 at 23:30 UTC, followed by the CRMB restrictions on September 16 at 23:30 UTC. Trading of the two USDT pairs will continue during the event.
The announcement also makes clear that bStocks should not be confused with direct ownership of the underlying shares. They are tokenized securities issued by BTech Holdings Limited and represent an interest in securities held by the issuer.
For users participating in the program, the most important dates are therefore the two record-date snapshots, the temporary service suspensions and the completion of the respective dividend distributions.
