BNB Chain Reaches 2 Million RWA Holders as Tokenized Stocks Grow

BNB Chain has surpassed 2 million holders of tokenized real-world assets, representing approximately 40% of onchain RWA holders. Growth in tokenized stocks, including Binance’s bStocks products, has helped drive the network’s recent expansion.

BNB Chain Surpasses 2 Million RWA Holders

BNB Chain has crossed the milestone of 2 million holders of tokenized real-world assets (RWAs), according to figures cited in the network’s announcement and data from RWA.xyz. The achievement makes BNB Chain the first blockchain to reach that reported holder count and puts it at approximately 40% of holders across onchain RWA networks.

The figures cited in the announcement place Robinhood Chain next, with nearly 1.6 million holders. The gap highlights BNB Chain’s reach in a market that brings traditional financial assets onto blockchain infrastructure.

Holder counts offer a different view of adoption from total value locked or market capitalization. They help show how widely assets are distributed across blockchain addresses, although they do not necessarily represent individual investors. A single person may control several wallets, so the number should not be interpreted as a count of unique users.

Tokenized Stocks Add $106.2 Million in a Week

Tokenized equities appear to be an important contributor to BNB Chain’s recent RWA growth. Data shared by Token Terminal indicated that the market capitalization of tokenized stocks on BNB Chain increased by $106.2 million over seven days.

The reported weekly increase exceeded the gains recorded by several other networks. X Layer added $63.4 million, while Solana recorded an increase of $29.1 million over the same period.

Binance’s bStocks products accounted for nearly $97 million of BNB Chain’s reported increase, making them the largest identified contributor in the figures provided. These products are part of the broader effort to bring exposure to traditional financial assets onto blockchain networks. Their specific ownership rights and restrictions depend on the terms of each product, so tokenized stock exposure should not automatically be equated with direct ownership of the underlying shares.

Tokenized Assets Expand Beyond Ethereum

The latest figures point to intensifying competition among blockchain networks seeking to host tokenized financial products. Ethereum remains an important part of the tokenization ecosystem, while BNB Chain, X Layer and Solana are also attracting activity.

Different networks can appeal to issuers and users for a range of reasons, including transaction costs, ecosystem integrations and access to existing crypto audiences. As more tokenized stocks and other traditional assets become available onchain, distribution may become an important competitive factor alongside the amount of capital represented by those assets.

The broader market is also expanding. A report published tokenized stocks exceeding $3 billion in market capitalization. That figure reflects the market conditions described in that report and should not be treated as a live total without checking the latest data.

Why RWA Holder Numbers Matter

A large holder base can provide a starting point for broader financial activity. If tokenized assets become supported by more trading venues, lending protocols and decentralized finance applications, users may gain additional ways to trade or use eligible assets as collateral.

However, a high holder count alone does not establish how frequently assets are traded, how much liquidity is available, or whether holders are actively using DeFi services. Those factors will be important for assessing whether BNB Chain’s distribution advantage translates into sustained activity.

The composition of the assets also matters. Tokenized products can differ in their legal structure, redemption terms, transfer restrictions and rights attached to the underlying asset. Investors and users should review the documentation for each product rather than assuming all tokenized stocks provide identical benefits.

What Comes Next for BNB Chain’s RWA Market?

BNB Chain’s reported 2 million RWA holders mark a notable distribution milestone, while the $106.2 million weekly increase in tokenized stock market value points to continued expansion in that segment.

The next test is whether this growth leads to durable participation, deeper liquidity and wider use of tokenized assets across financial applications. Monitoring holder trends alongside market capitalization, trading volume and actual DeFi integrations will provide a more complete picture of the network’s progress.

For now, the reported figures position BNB Chain as a major venue for onchain RWA distribution. Whether it maintains that lead will depend on continued adoption and the practical usefulness of the assets available to its users.
