BNB Chain Launches $20K Tokenized Stock Hackathon

The online competition runs from September 16 through October 11, 2026, giving teams and individual developers several weeks to create and submit working products.

Tokenized Stocks Become the Focus

The hackathon centers on one main track: tokenized-stock products and agents on BSC.

Developers can build a wide range of applications, including:

• Trading interfaces

• Portfolio management tools

• Autonomous trading agents

• Tokenized-stock dashboards

• Telegram bots

• MCP servers

• SDKs and developer tools

• Automated portfolio and rebalancing systems

BNB Chain says the goal is to move beyond simply issuing tokenized equities and develop the infrastructure that makes these assets easier to use.

The initiative comes as tokenized stocks increasingly become part of the broader onchain market, creating demand for better interfaces, market-data tools, portfolio automation and DeFi integrations.

$20,000 Prize Pool

The competition has a total $20,000 prize pool, funded by BNB Chain and Binance Web3 Wallet.

The main prizes include:

• 1st place: $6,000

• 2nd place: $4,000

• 3rd place: $3,000

• 4th place: $2,000

• 5th place: $1,000

Two additional $2,000 special prizes are available for projects making strong use of agentic wallet capabilities or BNB Agent Studio.

The competition also offers free API access during the event, elevated rate limits for registered participants, mentoring and support from the participating teams.

AI Agents Are Part of the BSC Push

One of the notable elements of the hackathon is its emphasis on AI-powered blockchain agents.

Developers can use BNB Agent Studio to create applications capable of interacting with blockchain infrastructure and financial products. The special prize for agentic wallet functionality also shows how BNB Chain is connecting tokenized assets with automated onchain execution.

This could include applications that monitor tokenized equities, manage portfolios, execute predefined strategies or provide automated financial workflows.

BNB Chain is also providing access to market data, RWA data, swap routing, transaction simulation, wallet information and DeFi positions through an aggregated API environment for participants.

The hackathon is currently underway.

• October 12–23: Judging

• Week of October 26: Winners announced
